Our Process
1. Discovery
This can take on many forms. From an extensive requirements phase, to a text message to build a “quick” beta used to better define the issue. The technology is the means to an end, understanding the pain-point varies in terms of the effort involved.
2. Modelling & Planning
Data modelling and planning the sprint cycles. Modelling not only the data engine but the solution often involves taking a complex problem and breaking it down into manageable action points. Creating that executable task list is key.
3. Building to Beta
The actual building of the application then if all is well thought out becomes a mechanical exercise and this is what the user will see and work with. Team-work and the will to see it through to completion are key.
4. Implementing and Sustaining
Implementation is about user guidance and taking feedback and stress testing for exceptions. An application with a 10 year outlook then needs a sustainment plan as the web technology changes and “bugs” get worked out. There is also monitoring of the user experience, in that is something awkward that can be re-designed?
